As soon as I was out of bed getting ready to go out, nanny and kahlua decided to take over;
Alot of these are of yours truly :)
I thought today would be a good time to rock the High Voltage Hollywood tee
Me and my cousin Ate Yay
Driving back;
Stopped for some filipino food, Kambing [goat] and Dinuguan [pork blood stew]\
It's so delicious, looveeee it :D
Being here and being surrounded by so many Filipinos, it really has made me want to learn to speak Tagalog, the dialect that my relatives speak. From what I have heard it is very much like spanish and I hope it's easy to pick up on, ate yay is writing down some basics for me, which will be a start. Just being able to speak Tagalog will make me feel more like one of the family, it's really important to me to do this, just as it is for the rest of the family to keep speaking it. It is something they have taken from their home land and kept tradition and heritage alive. Although I'm not a native of the Philippines I can still absorb the culture of my people by learning how to talk like them.
