Hollywood Sign [and animals]

As soon as I was out of bed getting ready to go out, nanny and kahlua decided to take over;

Alot of these are of yours truly :)

I thought today would be a good time to rock the High Voltage Hollywood tee

Me and my cousin Ate Yay

Driving back;

Stopped for some filipino food, Kambing [goat] and Dinuguan [pork blood stew]\

It's so delicious, looveeee it :D

Being here and being surrounded by so many Filipinos, it really has made me want to learn to speak Tagalog, the dialect that my relatives speak. From what I have heard it is very much like spanish and I hope it's easy to pick up on, ate yay is writing down some basics for me, which will be a start. Just being able to speak Tagalog will make me feel more like one of the family, it's really important to me to do this, just as it is for the rest of the family to keep speaking it. It is something they have taken from their home land and kept tradition and heritage alive. Although I'm not a native of the Philippines I can still absorb the culture of my people by learning how to talk like them.

A few of the family

The cousins, minus a few.

The poor lizard

The poor thing didn't have a chance the minute it ran into the garden. I was watching it from behind the window, Kahlua was drooling so much; I knew it wasn't going to end well for the lizard.

On the plus side, I got to take pictures of the aftermath.

Shoot ideas

When I get back to England I want to shoot a few models in Dia De Los Meurtes style. I know it's been done so much before but I want to include in my portfolio of just general stuff I have done. Plus it's frickin sick too.

Oh and this is how I want my wife to look :D

Botanical Gardens

So I came home with a case of crabs...

It was a bad idea to give them names, eating them was that little bit harder. It was nice to rip them open though :)

Points of Interest

Just a couple of images I have shown interest in whilst browsing the internet, defining four of my greatest loves in the world; tattoos, religious iconography, blood and cats...........boobs are pretty good too.

I'm itching to get on with some photography, the stuff I am doing here is documentary, the real juicy stuff I can do when I get back and have access to contacts- it's been a long time since I've messed around with blood ad body paint and I am getting withdrawal symptoms. I guess it will just be that much sweeter when I eventually get round to doing it; good things come to those who wait right?
